Everybody's workin for the weekend

I was so excited for this weekend, it had snowed Thursday morning, Wintergreen was going to open all of their slopes and I might have a chance to go snowboarding this weekend. Then mother nature intervened. It then proceeded to rain the rest of Thursday and then it was a nice spring day today. There is no snow to be found on the ground here in C'ville at all. I'm sure there's still some on the mountain but there's just something wrong skiing on slopes where if you go 2 ft. off the run, you're in the mud. So I'll wait for another weekend, plus my girlfriend is coming up for the weekend and she's done with winter sports after the last time we went together.

I know this is really old but a friend just mentioned it to me again so I figured I had to share it with the masses



Seriously, that is classic "He passes it to the man, and boom goes the dynamite". Notice I didn't place an exclamation point in there, because he's so deadpan. Love it

Ah, there's nothing like the first post of a new blog. I'm guessing the feeling I've got right now is something akin to what Neil Armstrong felt like when he took his first steps on the moon. One small step for me, one giant step for mekind!

I'm going to use this soapbox to riff on whatever I please. Politics, news, sports, pretty much everything. And you might even get a little about work too, after all it is what I do. And really that's why I'm starting this blog, because it's what I do. Check out my other site at .
